- ➤ A Lenexa nonprofit announced it is sending ten more Hurricane Melissa Disaster Response Team volunteers to Jamaica to help with relief efforts; six members have been in the country since October 31. The team—which includes a doctor, five nurses, and four operations specialists from several states—will set up a clinic in Cambridge just south of Montego Bay. FOX 4 KC
- ➤ Local volunteers helped Kansas City during the Ate 1 Six BBQ event on November 9—organizers said the event provided support to local neighbors. KCTV 5
