GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ After several fatal pedestrian crashes, Overland Park officials installed dozens of flashing speed signs near schools and neighborhoods. The city used a $100,000 federal grant to power 33 solar powered signs and will plan further safety projects in the new year — a move to enhance community safety. KSHB
