ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Hazmat teams are testing the water at Kingston Lake Park (closed until today) after a diesel fuel odor was reported near the park. City officials say there is no ongoing spill but advise residents to avoid the area since the water is unsafe for pets. KCTV 5
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Johnson County Board of County Commissioners approved pilot shuttle service from Lenexa City Center and Overland Park Convention Center to Kansas City International Airport during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The nine-month pilot, supported by local funds and a Federal grant, will expand travel options. KCTV 5
