  • Prairie Village City Council approved changes to Tomahawk Road—narrowing lanes from 15 feet to 10 feet and adding speed display signs to remind drivers of the 25 mph limit—in response to resident concerns outlined at the November 17 meeting.  KCTV 5
  • KCATA is repurposing millions in CMAQ grants to boost bus service—planning extra vehicles and adjusted routes to meet increased World Cup demand as federal funds for daily operations remain stalled. Johnson County Transit will add new routes and expand services to help both residents and visitors when the tournament begins.  KSHB
