- ➤ Overland Park residents can share input on updating trash, recycling, yard waste, and compost services through in-person open houses—Tuesday, November 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Matt Ross Community Center—and a virtual meeting—Thursday, November 20 from 6 to 7 p.m.—as well as an online survey available November 12 through December 15. - ➤ A major roadway in Overland Park will close Friday at 7 p.m. for pavement marking work under the 69Express project and will reopen Sunday at 10 a.m. Drivers must follow detour routes (including approaches via Antioch Ave, 143rd St, and Metcalf Ave) as weather may delay the schedule. KCTV 5
