- ➤ Overland Park was named the second safest city in America by WalletHub, which based its ranking on safe roads — and financial safety. The report shows the city has the fifth-lowest pedestrian fatality rate and the 15th-lowest traffic fatality rate among the cities analyzed. KCTV 5

- ➤ Boulevard Brewing Co. announced its new Berry Jane Quirk THC Seltzer, a hemp-derived beverage with a crisp berry taste in 5mg and 10mg options that will be sold in four-packs starting in November at participating retailers in Missouri and Kansas—while the brewery will also bring back its Nitro Dry Stout this fall after more than 10 years off the shelves. - ➤ Farm operator Shawn Lagemann at Walnut Pond Agricultural Discovery Center opposes Lenexa’s new development plan and code requirements, arguing that fresh rules hurt local agriculture.
