  • Dozens of Johnson County residents attended a free expungement clinic at the county courthouse on Wednesday, where volunteer attorneys helped review and draft documents to clear past non-violent convictions. John Shaw, a 58-year-old veteran working in construction, said the service offered him a chance for a new beginning — removing costly barriers to employment and housing.  KCTV 5
  • The Kansas School for the Deaf and the School for the Blind are asking lawmakers to restore over $300,000 in withheld funds—cut last year under Senate Bill 125—to support salaries and key programs such as the Learning Assistance Program.  FOX 4 KC
