Hundreds of families joined the 30th annual Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk at Truman Sports Complex on Saturday during Down Syndrome Awareness Month — a day celebrating inclusion — while enjoying karaoke, music, and games.
Down Syndrome Innovations organized the event — linking families to support — and former Royals Hall of Famer Rex Hudler emceed the day.
