  • Olathe School District Superintendent Dr. Brent Yeager sent a letter to Arbor Creek Elementary parents on Thursday to address concerns about staff wearing freedom shirts—he clarified that no safety threats were reported and that staff were only asked to pause wearing the shirts while the situation was reviewed. He emphasized that the district is committed to keeping the school politically neutral and maintaining a focus on student learning.  KSHB
  • Jude Nickson, a student with bilateral microphthalmia at Indian Woods Middle School, runs cross country with guidance from assistant principal Lindsey Constance—she holds the guide rope and warns him about obstacles along his route.
