ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Families of two Kansas natives who died in the Jan. 29 collision between an American Airlines flight and a military helicopter in Washington, D.C. have filed a lawsuit against American Airlines—its regional carrier PSA and the federal government are also named—claiming the tragedy was avoidable. BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ The International Trade Council of Greater Kansas City celebrates 80 years today by offering workshops and networking opportunities to help local businesses navigate trade. President Ruiping Ramboldt said the nonprofit, founded in 1944, has supported exporters and importers in managing tariffs and customs entries + strengthening local trade has been at its core + mission. - ➤ BNSF Railway will close the Merriam railroad crossings at 65th Street and 67th Street for two days to fix them as crews work while drivers are urged to use alternate routes—the Johnson Drive crossing is closed for critical repairs and will reopen soon. FOX 4 KC

- ➤ A charity event called Bra Couture Workout for Cancer Care is scheduled at CPKC Stadium and will donate all proceeds to local BCKC Cancer Care Centers—supporting hospitals in the area. KCTV 5
