ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Six people and two dogs were displaced after an early-morning fire at Aspen Lodge Apartments on 81st Terrace and Switzer Road—firefighters contained the blaze in about 15 minutes and the Red Cross provided temporary housing while authorities investigated the cause. KMBC News
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ This fall, the Nelson-Atkins Museum will open a new exhibit—Personal Best—that honors Kansas City’s art and sports culture and its role as a host for FIFA World Cup 26, featuring six local artist-athletes. The exhibit will also show a video interview that lets visitors learn more about the artists’ dual skills. FOX 4 KC
