  • Union Station’s Holiday Reflections returns for the 2025 holiday season as tickets are on sale now and the exhibit will run from November 21 through January 4. The Grand Plaza display will include a virtual reality ride and historic recreations like the 1920s Petticoat Lane and a Gingerbread Village—ticket prices start at $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends.  FOX 4 KC

SPORTS NEWS

  • Hoop Nation and Athvantage are joining forces to help families overcome cost barriers for youth sports in Kansas City by supporting free basketball programs. On Sept. 20, they will partner with a Dick's Sporting Goods House of Sport store in Leawood from noon to 4 p.m. to offer free sports physicals and a 20% discount—benefits capped off with a meet and greet with professional athletes—to inspire young players.  KSHB
