- ➤ On Aug. 9, Cingulate Chairman and CEO Shane Schaffer was arrested and charged with felony aggravated domestic battery in Johnson County after allegedly choking his girlfriend for a second time in less than a year — his scheduled 11 a.m. court appearance was canceled. FOX 4 KC
