Johnson County Fair officials are seeking new sponsors to upgrade aging facilities and support youth programs amid budget challenges.
Sponsorship funds will be used for facility improvements and program expansion (efforts focus on modernizing infrastructure) at the fair.

The Overland Park Fire Department’s technical rescue team will assist a city engineer in inspecting a dam and spillway pipe 20 feet below South Lake Park tomorrow at 9 a.m. to reduce risks like air contamination and structural failure (providing a real training opportunity).

The Chiefs have chosen Kansas City firm Populous to design their new $300M headquarters and training facility in Olathe near College Boulevard and Ridgeview Road, which will open before the 2031 season.
Blue Valley students and parents are racing to raise $131,000 (roughly $13K per school) by Friday so girls at five high schools can play flag football this fall.
The fundraiser comes after budget cuts halted district funding for new programs.
