- ➤ Overland Park Police and Kansas Highway Patrol conducted a joint operation last Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., issuing 102 citations from 93 stops and making multiple arrests for aggressive driving + the agencies will conduct similar actions in the future to improve road safety. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Johnson County paramedics treated many heat-related illnesses in the past week as dangerous temperatures forced them to complete calls faster and use mobile cooling methods. A recent ride-along showed paramedics Nick Knox and Emma Heller responding to a car accident and a call at a home for a sick child–steps taken to lessen exposure to extreme heat. KCTV 5
