- ➤ Black & Veatch is proposing to expand its Overland Park campus into a project over $1 billion that will add a public park, retail space, and a possible hotel on its property between 112th and 115th Street. The proposal, which seeks $250 million from the city using $227 million in TIF and $20 million in CID funds, is scheduled for review by the finance committee today. KCTV 5

- ➤ More than 120 memory care residents celebrated a prom at Morningside Place in Overland Park—where staff and volunteers helped with beauty treatments and dancing to spark joyful memories. - ➤ KSHB 41's Cynthia Newsome updated her breast cancer journey, saying that severe headaches led to the discovery of a brain tumor after her cancer had spread for years. She will begin 10 whole brain radiation treatments soon while her husband Ed stands by her side (she remains hopeful). KSHB
