- ➤ Federal and local officials announced that over a 55-day crackdown called Operation Restore Justice, 205 alleged child sex offenders were arrested nationwide—including two in Kansas—and 115 children were rescued. KCTV 5

- ➤ Johnson County reported that multiple ramps at the I-435/U.S. 69 interchange were fully closed since May 7 as part of the U.S. 69 Highway expansion—residents in condemned apartments had 48 hours to move out and some KCI travelers delayed meeting REAL ID requirements. A weather system moved in from the south today with widespread rain and a high of 70°. KCTV 5

- ➤ Kansas City's Midwest Transplant says that when drivers get a REAL ID, they can also opt to be organ donors—about 500 Kansas residents and 2,000 Missourians are waiting for new organs. KCTV 5
