- ➤ The Great Plains SPCA said Cody — a poodle mix rescued from a puppy mill and recently adopted by a metro family — slipped away during a bath and remains missing from his Overland Park home. He was last seen near 159th and Quivira and a $500 reward is offered for his safe return. KCTV 5
- ➤ On Friday, several area agencies covered KCFD stations so that Kansas City Fire Department members could attend paramedic Graham Hoffman's visitation and funeral. KCFD Station No. 10 thanked Leavenworth County EMS — Independence Fire Department while Overland Park and Kansas City Kansas crews provided additional coverage. KCTV 5

- ➤ Olathe police arrested a suspect in the case of 75-year-old Karen M. Peterson, who was found dead inside her home on North Persimmon Drive just after 11 a.m. on April 30+ the death is still being investigated as a homicide. FOX 4 KC
