FNBO announced on Thursday that it signed a merger agreement with Country Club Bank’s parent company—CCB Financial Corporation, with regulatory approval expected before the end of the year.

After the merger, FNBO will add Country Club Bank’s 20 branches to its network and increase its assets to nearly $35 billion.
