- ➤ Beauty Icon KC near 31st and Prospect will raise prices starting May 1 because a 145% tariff on imports from China has raised costs. Owner Bahaa Jbara said his small business may struggle without the price increases, but local customers say they will keep shopping. KSHB

- ➤ Overland Park reminds residents that golf carts are banned from any interstate or street and electric scooters are not allowed on highways but may be used on city sidewalks if kept under 15 mph—riders of electric-assisted scooters must avoid streets with speed limits over 35 mph to keep community members safe.
