- ➤ Over 1,400 students and staff from Blue Valley North High School took part in the Seven Days Kindness Walk today to remember the 2014 shooting victims—Reat Underwood, William Corporon and Terri LaManno. The walk aims to spread kindness and understanding throughout the community. KMBC News
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ One person died and another was injured in a crash on U.S. 69 Highway—near 207th Street—on April 10th, as authorities closed all southbound lanes and one northbound lane, which caused traffic delays. FOX 4 KC
- ➤ A tractor-trailer crash on U.S. 69 near 207th Street in Johnson County at 7:20 a.m. Thursday left one truck occupant dead and the other, initially in critical condition, now stable—forcing police to close both southbound lanes and one northbound lane. KMBC News

- ➤ A Kansas realtor from Louisburg was indicted by a federal grand jury in Kansas City on tax evasion and wire fraud charges—she is accused of owing hundreds of thousands in taxes, filing 34 false COVID-19 relief loan applications, and misusing funds, which could bring up to 20 years in prison.
