  • Former Olathe East student Jaylon Elmore pleaded guilty on Jan. 10 to charges including attempted premeditated murder and received a 20-year prison sentence for shooting a school resource officer and an assistant principal in March 2022—sentencing is scheduled for today—after serving 1,112 days in jail.  KMBC News
