- ➤ Overland Park Police warned residents to be alert to scammers on Facebook Marketplace after a local mother lost money buying a car last month—authorities advise caution when verifying online listings. KCTV 5
- ➤ Danette Colbert and Rickey White were charged with the death of Kansas City sports reporter Adan Manzano — the case remains under investigation. KCTV 5
- ➤ The Prairie Village Police Department responded to a burglary at Hen House at 6950 Mission Lane before 5 a.m. Monday after an employee found the grocery store had been broken into and the pharmacy targeted, and they are asking anyone with information to call (913) 642-5151 or (816) 474-8477. - ➤ Prairie Village police are investigating a burglary at Hen House pharmacy at 6950 Mission Road that occurred just after midnight and was discovered when an employee arrived before 5 a.m. — the Johnson County Crime Lab is assisting investigators and anyone with information should contact police or the TIPS Hotline.
