- ➤ Pharmacy of Grace will open a full service pharmacy near the I-35 east corridor in Shawnee by June to help uninsured patients get affordable prescriptions. The nonprofit already dispenses medications and will add care technicians and bilingual support to serve Johnson County. KSHB

- ➤ Maikel Garcia led Venezuela to a 3 to 2 win over the United States in the 2026 World Baseball Classic final as he was named MVP, giving Royals fans a moment of pride while Salvador Perez and Bobby Witt Jr. drew cheers at watch parties during St. Patrick's Day celebrations. KMBC News
- ➤ Keaton Wagler, a Shawnee Mission NW graduate and top Kansas Class of 2025 prospect, was named Second Team All-American by the Associated Press after a standout freshman season at Illinois.
