  • A new NFIB survey (68% rate business health as good or excellent and 60% invested in equipment and facilities at record levels since late 2023) shows local business owner Karen Crnkovich reporting a 40% revenue increase while rising insurance costs remain a concern.  KSHB

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The express lanes of the 69Express project opened Saturday, Feb. 12 in Johnson County with tolls ranging from 35 cents to $1.50 for KTAG users while drivers billed by license plate paid 50% more and drivers with toll tags from Texas, Oklahoma, or Florida were charged the lower KTAG rate.  KMBC News
