  • A two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 35 at 75th Street in Johnson County disrupted traffic and resulted in one person being hospitalized.  KSHB

CRIME NEWS

  • Michael McAnally, wanted for setting a vehicle on fire in Lenexa, was arrested in Kansas City and is facing arson charges with a first appearance in court scheduled.  KCTV 5

ECONOMY NEWS

  • The Panasonic electric vehicle battery plant in De Soto, Kansas, is set to open this spring, aiming to hire 1,000 workers by summer and eventually reaching 4,000 employees, with a partnership with Johnson County Community College for an apprenticeship training program.  KSHB

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • After a three-year investigation into election fraud in Johnson County, no credible instances were discovered, prompting the new Sheriff to prioritize rebuilding community trust.  KCTV 5
